Minimum high school/vocational education equivalent (preferably Engineering/Vocational major).
Have a Basic K3 or K3 Oil and Gas certification from the Ministry of Manpower or BNSP.
It has a basic to advanced level Fire Fighting certification.
Work Experience Minimum 5 years of experience as a safety officer and firefighter in the petroleum industry (upstream, downstream, refinery, or EPC).
Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Fire Safety Prevention & Inspection:
Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishing equipment (fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, gas detectors, sprinklers) to ensure they are in ready-to-use condition;
Monitor the condition of the work area to identify potential fire and explosion hazards;
Ensure compliance with safety procedures related to hot work, use of power tools, and work in fire-prone areas.
Emergency Handling:
Emergency response in the face of fires, oil/gas spills, and work accidents; Operating a fire extinguisher (portable or fire truck) to extinguish fires or limit the spread of danger; Securing the scene and assisting in the evacuation process of workers; Use complete personal protective equipment, including Breathing Apparatus (BA), when entering smoky or toxic areas.
Training & Simulation: Attend regular training related to fire fighting and emergency response organized by the company;
Participate in emergency simulations (fire drill, emergency response drill) to ensure team readiness;
Supporting the education of other workers regarding the use of fire extinguishers and initial actions in the event of a fire.
Reporting & Documentation: Making safety equipment inspection reports and fire incident incidents;
Report any unsafe condition or unsafe action to the HSE supervisor or department; Providing suggestions related to improving fire safety aspects in the work environment.

Technical Competence: Understand the basics of K3 in the petroleum environment as well as regulations such as Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning Occupational Safety &
Regulations related to K3 Oil and Gas from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources; Able to operate light fire extinguishers (APAR), fire hoses, hydrants, fire trucks, foam systems, and other extinguishing equipment; Understand how to deal with fires, gas leaks, and chemical spills;
Able to use a breathing apparatus during an emergency;
Knowledge of hazardous area classification in the oil and gas industry.
Support Skills: Have good physical endurance to work in the field and deal with emergency situations; Able to work under pressure in critical situations;
Have good team communication and coordination skills when handling incidents; Have a high awareness of hazards in the work area and be able to provide an example of a safety culture to colleagues.
